Your Library card
Your Library Card
When you become a member you will be given two library cards – one credit card-sized and a smaller one that can go on a keyring.
Keep your cards safe.
Lost your card?
If you lose your card, the first replacement is free but after that there is a £1.50 charge for a replacement. You will need to visit your local library to request a new PIN. For security reasons, we are unable to give out PINs over the telephone or via email.
Access your Library account
Access your library account via the North Yorkshire County Council library catalogue to manage your library account, including searching for, reserving and renewing books.
If your details change

If you move out of North Yorkshire, let us know and return your card to your nearest library, along with any items you may have borrowed.
